Have you ever broken a good habit?

For several weeks I have consistently started my day at 6AM blogging. I had a few late nights into early mornings type of days and did not blog. Just as I was establishing a new habit it was easily broken. Have you been there? I have heard it said that it takes 21 days to make something a habit. It appears to just take one day to break the habit.

Do you feel guilty after breaking a good habit?

Breaking my blogging habit has made me feel guilty in a way. I feel like I have missed an opportunity to connect with you. One reason I blog is that I hope I can offer you some encouragement or challenge you to reach for more along your journey.

What do you do with the guilt of breaking a good habit?

Get back on the bike. That is what I am doing today. I’m getting back on my blogging bike so to speak. How about you? Is there something holding you back from jumping back on your good habit bike? Don’t let guilt hold you back. Just jump back on and start pedaling.
